Description
Moon Hair Mist is a fragrance made for hair rather than skin — 100 ml of blackcurrant and pear over praline and vanilla, formulated with vitamins B5 and E so it conditions while it scents instead of drying hair out the way an alcohol-based perfume does.
Fragrance Notes
- Top Notes: Blackcurrant and pear.
- Heart Notes: Jasmine, iris, and orange blossom.
- Base Notes: Patchouli, vanilla, and praline.
Why a Hair Mist and Not Perfume
Spraying perfume on hair is common and quietly damaging. Eau de parfum is heavily alcohol-based, and repeated use strips moisture from the cuticle, leaving hair brittle and dull over months. A hair mist carries far less alcohol and adds conditioning agents instead. Moon Hair Mist contains panthenol — vitamin B5 — along with vitamin E, which hold moisture in the strand rather than drawing it out. Our guide to hair mist versus perfume covers the difference in full.

The Moon Scent Profile
Moon opens on blackcurrant and pear, then turns powdery as iris arrives alongside jasmine and orange blossom. The base is what sets it apart from everything else we make: praline and vanilla give a soft, warm finish. It reads as the most grown-up scent in the range and performs best after dark and in cooler weather. It is also the collection our customers review most often.
How to Use Moon Hair Mist
- Spray from 15–20 cm away. Any closer concentrates the product in one spot.
- Apply to damp or dry hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots.
- Comb through gently so it distributes evenly.
- Skip the scalp if your roots run oily. The ends are where scent and conditioning both matter most.
How Long the Scent Lasts on Hair
Hair holds fragrance far longer than skin, because the cuticle traps scent where skin absorbs and metabolises it. Applied in the morning, Moon Hair Mist is usually still noticeable by evening, and it releases again with movement — which is why hair is the layer other people notice first. Using it over the matching Moon Body Splash extends the whole fragrance further.
Common Questions
Can I use it every day?
Yes. It is formulated for daily use, which perfume on hair is not.
Will Moon Hair Mist weigh my hair down?
No. It is a light mist rather than an oil or serum, and fine hair handles it without going flat.
Is it safe on coloured or treated hair?
Yes. The low alcohol content and conditioning vitamins make it gentler than perfume on chemically treated hair.
Size, Storage and Caution
100 ml. Keep the bottle out of direct sun and away from heat — fragrance degrades faster in warm, bright conditions, and a summer on a sunlit shelf will change how it smells. Avoid contact with eyes.
