Description
Reed Diffuser Mango 250ml is the summer one — tropical, juicy and warm rather than sharp, and the scent that makes a room feel bright without needing sunlight to do it.
The Mango Scent
Ripe and full, closer to the fruit itself than to a sweet confection. It sits between our citrus and our floral options: brighter than gardenia, rounder than lemon. It suits open, daytime spaces, and it holds up in heat better than heavier fragrances, which matters in a Jordanian summer.
Where to Put It
- Kitchen and dining area — fruit scents work near food in a way florals and oud do not.
- Living room in summer — light enough that it does not feel oppressive in the heat.
- A room with poor natural light — bright scent does some of the work that a window would.
It is less suited to a bedroom you want to feel restful at night; lavender is the better choice there.
Why 250ml Rather Than 110ml
The larger bottle runs three to four months against six to eight weeks for the small one, and holds enough oil for a kitchen and dining space rather than a corner. The 110 ml version is the sensible size for a bathroom or a small room, or for trying mango before buying this one.
How Reed Diffusers Work
No flame, no electricity, no timer. The reeds draw oil up from the bottle and release it into the air continuously, which is why a diffuser gives a steadier, quieter scent than a candle or a spray. Our guide to choosing a reed diffuser covers placement, reed count and how to make each bottle last.
How to Use It
- Remove the stopper and insert the reeds. All of them for a strong scent, half for something subtle — this is your main volume control.
- Wait two to three hours for the reeds to saturate before judging the strength.
- Flip the reeds once a week. It refreshes the scent noticeably and is the step almost everyone forgets.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning vents, both of which burn through the oil faster.
Common Questions
Will it clash with cooking smells?
Less than a floral would. Fruit scents sit alongside food smells rather than fighting them, though nothing survives frying fish.
Is it safe around children and pets?
There is no flame and no heat, which makes it safer than a candle. Keep the bottle out of reach; the oil is not meant to be swallowed and reeds can be pulled out.
Does heat make it fade faster?
Yes. Direct sun or a spot near a vent will empty any diffuser noticeably faster. Shade extends the life of the bottle.
If You Want More Than One
Running different scents in different rooms is what most people end up doing. The 3-piece 250 ml package covers three main rooms, and the 10-scent variety package lets you try the whole range first.
