Description
Reed Diffuser Strawberry 110 ml is the sweet fruit one — ripe, bright and immediately recognisable, and the scent that suits bedrooms and personal spaces more than shared rooms.
The Strawberry Scent
Full and ripe rather than candied, with enough tartness underneath to keep it from turning into confectionery. It sits between our gum scent, which is openly playful, and our cherry, which is deeper and more adult. Strawberry is the middle ground — sweet without being childish.
Where to Put It
- A bedroom — particularly a teenager’s, which is where most of these end up.
- A dressing area or bathroom — use half the reeds; small rooms concentrate sweet scents fast.
- A small living space where you want warmth rather than formality.
It is less suited to kitchens, where fruit scents blur into cooking, and to formal rooms, where it reads as casual. Lemon and gardenia are the better fits there.
How Reed Diffusers Work
No flame, no electricity, no timer. The reeds draw oil up from the bottle and release it into the air continuously, which is why a diffuser gives a steadier, quieter scent than a candle or a spray. Our guide to choosing a reed diffuser covers placement, reed count and how to make each bottle last.
How to Use It
- Remove the stopper and insert the reeds. Half is usually enough in a bedroom — sweet scents read stronger than they measure.
- Wait two to three hours for the reeds to saturate before judging the strength.
- Flip the reeds once a week. It refreshes the scent noticeably and is the step almost everyone forgets.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning vents, both of which burn through the oil faster.
Common Questions
Is it too sweet for a living room?
In a large room with half the reeds it is pleasant. With all of them in a small room it will dominate. Adjust the reeds rather than moving the bottle.
How long does a 110 ml bottle last?
Six to eight weeks with all reeds in, longer with fewer.
Is it safe around children and pets?
There is no flame and no heat, which makes it safer than a candle. Keep the bottle out of reach; the oil is not meant to be swallowed and reeds can be pulled out.
If You Want More Than One
Most people end up running different scents in different rooms. The 10-scent variety package is the cheapest way to try the range and cover a whole house at once.
