Description

Reed Diffuser Cherry 250ml is the bright one — sweet, fruity and immediately noticeable, made for the rooms where people gather rather than the ones where they wind down.

The Cherry Scent

Ripe and sweet, with the slight tartness that keeps cherry from turning sickly. It reads younger and livelier than our floral or woody options, and it is the fragrance guests are most likely to comment on. If you want a room to feel welcoming rather than calm, this is the one.

Where to Put It

  • Living room — its natural home, and where its liveliness works best.
  • Entrance hall — first impressions, and cherry makes a friendly one.
  • A teenager’s room — comfortably the most popular of our scents with younger customers.

Where it works less well is a bedroom you want to feel restful, or a kitchen where it competes with cooking. For those, lavender and lemon respectively are the better choices.

Why 250ml Rather Than 110ml

The larger bottle runs three to four months against six to eight weeks for the small one, and holds enough oil to fill a living room rather than a corner of it. The 110 ml version is the better buy for a small room, or if you want to try cherry before committing to a bottle this size.

How Reed Diffusers Work

No flame, no electricity, no timer. The reeds draw oil up from the bottle and release it into the air continuously, which is why a diffuser gives a steadier, quieter scent than a candle or a spray. Our guide to choosing a reed diffuser covers placement, reed count and how to make each bottle last.

How to Use It

  1. Remove the stopper and insert the reeds. All of them for a strong scent, half for something subtle — this is your main volume control.
  2. Wait two to three hours for the reeds to saturate before judging the strength.
  3. Flip the reeds once a week. It refreshes the scent noticeably and is the step almost everyone forgets.
  4. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning vents, both of which burn through the oil faster.

Common Questions

Is it too sweet?
It is a sweet fragrance and we will not pretend otherwise. In a large room with half the reeds it is pleasant rather than heavy; in a small room with all of them it will be a lot.

Is it safe around children and pets?
There is no flame and no heat, which makes it safer than a candle. Keep the bottle out of reach; the oil is not meant to be swallowed and reeds can be pulled out.

How long before I can smell it?
Two to three hours after inserting the reeds. Do not judge it in the first ten minutes.

If You Want More Than One

Running different scents in different rooms is what most people end up doing. The 3-piece 250 ml package covers three main rooms, and the 10-scent variety package lets you try the whole range before committing.
