How to Use It
- Remove the stopper and insert the reeds. Oud is potent — start with half of them and add more only if you want it stronger.
- Wait two to three hours for the reeds to saturate before judging the strength.
- Flip the reeds once a week. It refreshes the scent noticeably and is the step almost everyone forgets.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning vents, both of which burn through the oil faster.
Common Questions
Is it as strong as bakhoor?
No, and that is the point. Bakhoor is intense and short; a diffuser is mild and continuous. They are different tools for different occasions.
How long does a 110 ml bottle last?
Six to eight weeks with all reeds in, longer with fewer — and with oud, fewer is usually the right call.
Is it safe around children and pets?
There is no flame and no heat, which makes it safer than burning anything. Keep the bottle out of reach; the oil is not meant to be swallowed and reeds can be pulled out.
